Aerial photography with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) – drone – includes aerial photography of various locations and buildings by a person authorized to operate a UAV. By processing the photos collected during the recording of objects or locations with a drone, a model is obtained that can be used independently for the further needs of the client or as a supplement to the point cloud obtained by 3D laser scanning – using the drone to record hard-to-reach surfaces (e.g., roofs of houses and buildings) or larger surfaces (e.g. industrial plants).
